SSC Sub Inspector SI in Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Forces Examination 2023 The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts an examination to recruit Sub-Inspectors (SIs) in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). The eligibility criteria for the SSC Sub Inspector SI in Delhi Police are as follows:

  • Age: 18 to 27 years as of the closing date of the application
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
  • Physical standards: Must meet the physical standards set by the Delhi Police
  • Driving license: Male candidates must possess a valid driving license for LMV (Motorcycle and Car)

The SSC Sub Inspector SI in Delhi Police exam consists of two stages:

  • Stage 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
  • Stage 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST)

The CBT will be held in two parts: Part I and Part II. Part I will be a general aptitude test, while Part II will be a subject-specific test. The PET/PST will be conducted to assess the physical fitness of the candidates.

The eligibility criteria for the SSC CPO Exam are as follows:
  • Age: 18 to 27 years as on the 1st of August, 2023
  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university
  • Driving License: For male candidates, a valid driving license for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) is required
The SSC CPO Exam consists of two stages:
  • Stage 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
  • Stage 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST)
The CBT is a 200-mark exam that is conducted online. The exam consists of four sections:
  • General Intelligence and Reasoning
  • General Awareness
  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • English Language

The PET and PST are conducted to assess the physical fitness of the candidates. The PET consists of a 100-meter run, a 200-meter run, and a long jump. The PST consists of a standing broad jump, a pull-up, and a 9-meter rope climb.

The selected candidates are appointed as Sub Inspectors in Delhi Police and CAPFs. The salary of a Sub Inspector in Delhi Police is Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400/-.

The next SSC CPO Exam is scheduled to be held in October 2023. The application process for the exam is expected to start in July 2023.

  • Physical Standards: The candidate must meet the physical standards prescribed by the Delhi Police.
  • Driving License: Male candidates must possess a valid driving license for LMV (Motor cycle and Car) as on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Standard Tests. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to undergo Physical Endurance and Standard Tests.

The selection process for the SSC Sub Inspector SI in Delhi Police exam is as follows:

  • Stage 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
  • Stage 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) /Physical Standard Test (PST)
  • Stage 3: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
  • Stage 4: Detailed Medical Examination (DME)

The CBT will be conducted in two phases. The first phase will be a screening test and the second phase will be a main test. The PET / PST will be conducted after the first phase of the CBT. The second phase of the CBT and the DME will be conducted after the PET / PST.

The salary of a Sub Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police is as follows:

  • Level-6 (Rs. 35,400-Rs. 1,12,400/-) and is classified as Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted), Non-Ministerial.

The application process for the SSC Sub Inspector SI in Delhi Police exam will be conducted online. The application form will be available on the SSC website. The application fee for the exam is Rs. 100 for General Category candidates and Rs. 50 for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
